Hi all. I am new..

After a few years of talking. My wife and I are wanting to immigrate to Canada.

I am an Australian, and she is Japanese. We have 2 children, and after looking at all of our options, we have decided that we would like to move to Canada to raise our family.

The problem that I face is, that I am finding it hard to find employers that are interested in sponsoring foreign staff.. In saying that. I am more than happy to fly to Canada in order to meet a future boss, but I would like to find a path that would be a little easier.. All I am finding, are companies that make a profit from organizing this sort of thing. I would prefer to organize my own employment and have someone get to know me in a way that I feel is more appropriate.

If anyone has any ideas, then I am all ears..

ps' thanks for a great site...

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Here are some job search engines:

http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/

You could also look into Aussie working holiday but I am not sure if you can do that with a family. The link is:

You also have a possibility to apply for your immigration right off the bat if you or your wife qualify for skilled worker or Quebec skilled worker (which means you'd have to start off in Quebec) but check that at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp
