Have any Australian applicants (or applicanst from other countries that have lived in Australia for more than six months) been asked to provide an Australian Drivers Abstract?
The Ottawa office keeps requesting that I send in an Australian Drivers Abstract, even though the link they give me to their own website states that only those who resided in the states of Queensland and Victoria are required to do this (I have only lived in NSW)
They are requesting an original, but Service NSW only seems to provide options for an online copy or a mailed ceritified copy, no originals. I am living in Canada, so can't just head into an RTA office.
I replied immediately to their last request asking for clarification of exactly what they want, and pointed out that their own website which they linked in their request states I don't need to submit one, yet to get a response.
I applied in October 2014 and went to IP in Aug 6, 2015, hoping I can get this issue resolved so I can move to DM ASAP.
