Australian citizenship and Canadian immigration

Hello,

My question for immigration to canada is as following:

1- Should I have IELTS before I lodge my application or I can lodge and send IELTS later?

2- Does immigration to Canada has anything to do to get Australian citizenship(I mean no interruption)?I am permanent resident of Australia already and will be Au citizen in 3 years.

3- Is the copy of passport or other documents in English is enough to apply or i have to copy them officially.

4- Medical examination and police test are have to be done before lodging the application or not.

5- Whats the application fee.

6- How long is the process from sydney

Your advise would be highly appriciated.

I dont know about academic sir ,but according their website they mention GENERAL ,As u are mechanical engineer then ITS upto NOC thanks

mechanical engineers are not on the list of 38 eligible occupations to become eligible to apply for a canadian immigration as a federal skilled worker. you should have at least one year of experience in one of the 38 eligible occupations. your best bet is to find a job in canada and then apply under the category of arranged employment. good luck.
