Is there anybody else like me,having routine application,single,from Aug 2013 is still waiting for the test?no RQ,no finger print

Applied in Aug 2013, in process since Oct 2013, phoned CIC last month and was told "background checks are done, application looks Ok, just wait for the test letter.
I dunno what your office is, mine is Vancouver, one of the slowest offices, yet I have seen so many people in this forum who applied 1 - 2 months after I did but taking the test is aside; they already took the oath.
So, there doesn't seem to be a standard time for processing.

oh,so we are in the same boat,I am in Ontario,I saw people received RQ in Nov 2013,Dec 2013 etc and they received test and oath.That is so surprising and CIC cannot provide any answer for it yet. I see many in Aug even received the test. I just traveled once and not more than 50 days.my background check was done several month ago
