I have got the certificate in Dubai

If you are landing for shorter duration then you have to manage driving test dates here in Toronto because if you have over 24 mo driving experience then you might go for full G license. Pl go thru their web site for out of country drivers in detail.

I didn't get ur point for managing dates. Can we arrange the date as per schedule

No need for Ministry attestation. Just go to any RTA office show ur Dubai licence and ask for experience certificate paying dHS 60.

Are your sure that in Canada they will not ask attested Certificate

There are instances when Ontario Driving staff send your RTA letter to UAE Embassy, Ottawa for attestation (CAD$50 + 3 work days + Courier charges) if it is not attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs, Dubai.

Pl ask RTA staff, they will guide you.

It is true, there is a big que for G test, so pl book in advance because your fee is valid for 6 years.

Thx humsafar, there is very small variation in license name. My passport name and certificate name are matching

In father name, there is 1 alphabet shuffled at end for e.g TULSIDAS is appearing as TULSIADS

They are asking to pay 120 dhs to change name in license and I m leaving in 2 days

Do we need to show driving license to them ? Only passport and experience certificate should work

Dear KRP, having G license for yourself doesn't mean that TESTDRIVE staff would change their policy.

I have visited Eglinton Ave West center, Etobicoke and personally noticed that an Indian guy was refused because his RTA letter was not stamped by Min of F'affairs, Dubai.
