My passport expiry date is nov 2014. I came to canada in Aug 2011 and I would be eligible by Aug 2014 to apply for citizenship. However factoring in my vacation to INDIA and trips to US, I will be actually eligible in Sep. Decided to give myself some cushion to the 1095 day rule and apply it in Nov 2014.
Problem is with the passport nearing expiry date, would it be advisable to renew the passport early 2014 than within the 3 months of Canadian citizenship application?
I know there's still some time to think about the Citizenship, but i am just trying to cover my base before that situation kicks in.
