Hello folks,

I am about 3-4 years out from applying for citizenship, but I thought I should ask to see if there's any way to mitigate the RQ risk from this. I moved from Florida where my school was already pre-paid by my parents and I am almost finished with my degree. My school has the option for me to finish my degree online, and since it's paid for, that's what I am doing. I am just wondering if this pretty much guarantees me an RQ. And if it does, is there anything I can do to mitigate that risk?

Thanks and I very much appreciate the help!

Pre-Assessed..
RQ guarantee:
1. Applying with less than 1095 days of physical presence.

Lost passports are often trouble too.

But online schooling? This is not a known RQ guarantee. As long as you state that it is online. Perhaps you could include a cover letter and some official documentation showing that it was online (I would assume that this would be on the transcript).

That said, it's always a good idea to keep track of all your travel and keep documents and receipts related to residency and travel. File taxes in Canada, since that will be a requirement of the upcoming citizenship changes.
