Attached documents with application

Apart from the applications forms, do we need to submit any other documents with initial application form. Should we attached resume to provide evidence of proficiency in Canada's official languages.

I do not think it is necessary. This step is just to verify that you are who you saying you are.

one more question : In the economic federal form(schedule 2) there is one question stating 6. Language- have you taken approved test to access your proficiency in English .

I have tick No - there they state provide evidence of your proficency

Here what I need to provide???????

Hello Everyone

I would be submitting my application form this week.. Just wanted to make sure I am sending all required things

1. Application for permanent residence- principle applicant
2. Background check - Principle + spouse
3.Economic class - Principle applicant
4. Additional family information - principle + spouse
5. Photocopy of passport
6. Application fee
7. photo copy of driver license - as mentioned in identity card number for principle applicant
8. photographs put in separate envelopes of all applicants.
9. 2 self addressed mail envelopes.


Pls let me know if I am missing anything.. Thanking all of u in advance....

oh, u mean we should not send our photographs now with the application forms.. I was under impression that we need to write name and DOB of each applicant behind the photographs and put them in separate envelopes for all the applicants.

Do we need to stick the photographs on application forms??? waiting for this query....

No its not required at this stage.

You only need to send Forms, Fees, Passport Photo Copy of main Applicant and 2 address labels.

My passport was expired last year and was issued from san Francisco. In the application form they ask country of issue... i should write India or USA? pls suggest.
