Are you asking for a friend or yourself.....it's a little confusing. In any event, the primary applicant has to inform the nominating province that they will be laid off. The pnp office will advise them on the next steps, they usually give you the opportunity to find another job before cancelling your nomination and federal application. So that's the first step and you should do it immediately.
