ATIP shows fingerprints required and I did not receive a letter, plz advice

Hi guys
I ordered ATIP which shows that under section
TYPE: CIT RCMP SCREENING
STATUS: FINGERPRINTS REQUIRED
status update date: 2015-07-20

I did not receive any letter or e mail regarding request of fingerprints
also I called cic they mentioned they did not ask any fingerprints from me

can any one explain

What does the section referring to criminal checks/ rcmp checks/immigrations checks state. Does it have an expiry/valid to date? What is/are the date/s?

It is under RCMP check
there is not expiry or validity date

Odd not to get the FP letter. What is your application date? When did Sidney receive it? Based on this forum are you in a 'fast processing' office e.g Mississauga or a slow e.g Edmonton. Background check issues could delay your test in a fast office but if its a slow office there is time to figure out what's going well before you are in the test batch.

I am April 2015 applicant.
My office is ottawa, what u mean by "but if its a slow office there is time to figure out what's going well before you are in the test batch".
I called CIC today, they said they did not sent me any letters for FP request

Call CIC next week and see what they say. If you still have an issue then you can always write to CIC with a copy of your ATIP and ask where the FP letter is since the call centre keeps saying the opposite. I'm sure this will help you feel more in control of the situation since no one in the forum can explain the discrepancy or what the actual truth at CIC is. Alternatively you have the option of waiting for the next part of the process which is the test. Good luck
