is it useful to get ATIP physical file?

how are they going to process it? just ask someone in the local office to take out the file and scan it? if so, will they put my file back to the original space or put it at the back of the line and wait again?

1. It will take longer, and will probably not prove enlightening.
2. The file has to be found, taken out of the queue, photocopied, forwarded to the ATIP officer who then reviews the file and any redactions required.
3. It should be slotted back into the queue.

if I order electrical file. will it also come with a copy of my submitted application forms?

If you need to know the current status of your application then order electronic files but if you need your original submitted application then ask for physical file. you can ask for both physical as well as electronic files at the same time. :)

Having someone pull your file is not going to hurt anything and could help. Your file won't be kicked to the end of the queue.

Physical files sometimes have significantly more information. When I ordered mine I was able to see what the officer underlined in my application and also some internal emails about my application which were pretty interesting.

Hi Shaja, I can say that you would need the immigration file rather than citizenship, but I"m not sure if you can specify just medical or if your dependent's file would be under yours or their own.

Try posting to the immigration forum, rather than citizenship. Also, check this blog: http://medicallyinadmissible.com/ It is possible to successfully contest medical inadmissibility (as the author of the blog did), though the help of a good and reputable immigration lawyer would be indispensable.

Someone said ordering physical file will cause delay of the processing, is that true?
