Hi All,
Please refer to my timeline in my signature below. I listened to many advices and I ordered ATIP and I received it recently. Hopefully the ATIP won't delay the process on our applications. I have gone through the report twice and I was unable to find useful information at all. It is such a big file with lots of details about the activities ad movement of the file. I would appreciate some help to find out the useful information that will help me to understand the reason I got the RQ.
previously there was a post by another applicant who mentioned something about Refusal Grounds and the information there which helps to understand what triggered the RQ. I looked at this part and it is blank. the details as follows,
Refusal Ground: 1
Created Date: 2014-June
Created by : SADMIN
Updated Date : 2014- Nov
Created by : SADMIN
Article of the Act: ( Left Blank)
Article Description : ( left Blank )

Has anyone come across similar case?

The other note which may carry some value ( not sure).... in the file transfer history, the most recent one is in March, 2 weeks after I sent my RQ response and it mentions;
Office : Scarborough
Location: Registry
Transfer outcome: Received
Transfer Reason : Eligibility

What does that mean?

I was also trying to find any information about the receipt of my RQ response and I couldn't find anywhere. I would appreciate if you can guide me to where I can find it if possible.

Friends, I look forward to your responses... Thanks.

I have made a question to ‘Access to Information and Privacy’ division at CIC trying to check if ordering the ATIP may delay the process of the application. I read a lot of conflicting information here. The agent replied and confirmed as follows;

‘Submitting an Access to Information or Privacy request does not have any effect on the processing time of your application’

I hope this helps members here.

Hi.. What I understood that your RQ which you have send received by CIC and
now they will examine your eligibility base on your response.

It may take long time to see any progress on file, after few months your file will
be assign to officer and than after officer review file will be return to your local office
so just sit and relax as long you have completed the required number of days and you
have submitted in detail reply in your RQ response you do not have to worry and
just wait... ATIP report do not delay your process sometime may accelerate...
