Hi Friends,

I took the oath and got my citizenship certificate recently. I am thinking to apply for ATIP or GCMS notes of my file for my own record. I've some queries in my mind

1. Can I apply after getting Citizenship? because my file status is showing complete.
2. Does ATIP and GCMS are same?
3. What type of notes we should request?
4. What is the best and detailed version of notes which covers everything in the file?

1. Yes.
2. People use ATIP and GCMS interchangeably here, however it's via ATIP that you get your GCMS notes.
3-4. You have a choice to get your notes or get your entire file. Those are the only two options. Get the notes if you have a complete copy of your application. Order both if you just want a complete record. You'll probably need to submit two requests to do it.
