Greetings to all.Please wish to ask if it's possible to seek asylum in the port of entry in Canada.Am from Africa and I don't have anyone in canada and wish to come to Canada I don't know if at the port of entry through transit to Canada I can seek asylum..Thanks please will be waiting..

Please what I meant was like I board a flight and the flight needs to pass through Canada which I don't have a visa for canada then I drop and seek asylum at the airport..

The answer is the same. Yes - you can claim asylum as a transit passenger. However you will need to obtain a TRV (tourist visa) to transit through Canada. You must have a visa - you cannot transit through Canada without a visa.
