Hi There,

I have applied in University of Regina Master in human resource management program. Total Tuition fees for the whole program is CAD$21,000....minimum duration of the program is 2 years. As per CIC website>> I am showing following money in my sponsors account.

My sponsor is my father.

1st Year Tuition Fees + 1 year Living expenses + Return Airfare to Canada from Islamabad

$11000 + $10000 + $2000 = $23000CAD

My father has PKR 22Lacs which is equal to CAD $25000 in his saving account. Also i have PKR 500000 =CAD$5700 in my own saving account.

Therefore in total i am showing CAD$30700.....please suggest if this amount is OK to apply for the study permit.

Yes boy you can apply with this amount but make sure you provide all documents, like sponsership letter from your respected father, his bank statement for last 4 months and letter from bank manager. And why just dont you put your 500K to your father account to make VO not to think much on your financial situation haan.

Thank you friend for your kind Assistance. They reason i am keeping these 5 lac in my own account as currently i am also working so i just want to show them that i also have some saving in my own account.

Though My fathers saving is already enough for the purpose but just to make my case strong i am showing them the 5 lac..

what do you say..

best regards

Usman

if you are showing that this money is coming from your job then keep in mind that you will also need to provide salary slips for last 6 months plus IT returns, NTN and all that stuff. If you do have these stuff then it is a positive point with you, which will help you with home ties point, otherwise do not try to be smart.

well confirm one thing... as far as my information is concerned the account shud b CURRENT ACCOUNT and not SAVINGS...

rest its as said by Se7en

It could be any account.

Its a matter of choice either you want to open savings or cuurent. VO has nothing to do with current or savings, they just need to know that either you have enough finances for your studies or not.

Hi se7en ,

Though i do get salary slips but i have never submitted Tax my self.My company deducts Tax directly from my salary......I also have NTN certificate...therefore the only thing which i can provide is Salary Slips + NTN certificate...do you think this will be acceptable.......

or just to make my case simple and easy........ what else can i do to show these 5 lacs in my saving account......

Also just one more thing My salary is only 25k.therefore i personally believe that i simply show them that this money came from my father' account...

what do you suggest the way out?

best regards

Usman

Dear Usman,
Yes Salary slips and NTN document is okey. Provide these documents with a job experience letter printed on company official letter pad.
Make sure your salary goes to your savings accounts. If your savings account is not the one where your monthly salary goes then Do provide statement of your salary account, no matter if it is empty.

Important thing, make a two or three lines financial summary page (mentioning available balance for your studies). It should be like this:

Current Balance of my Sponser(Father) at XYZ Bank = Rs.xxxxxxxx/-
My Own Savings at XYZ Bank = Rs.xxxxxxxx/-
________________________________________________________
Total Balance = Rs.xxxxxxxx/-

Take print on a simple plane paper and place it on the top of your sponser documents, this way VO will feel easy to assess your financial matter.

2ndly, I am not an expert, i prepared my file on my own. Im telling you same as i prepared my file. And, I may be wrong at some points so better for you to discuss with other members as well, and above all your selfsatisfaction is something makes in invincible.

Hope my points are clear and precise
