Hello,

I am seeking confirmation on the procedure for applying for an "Open Work Permit for Vulnerable Workers" (please see the links below). IRCC provides instructions in the second link, but these instructions do not align with the options available in the portal. In other words, the provided instructions are not functional.

Could someone assist me in confirming the correct procedure? I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but I am an Authorized Representative.

Thank you.

If you are an authorized paid representative, then you should know what you are doing and shouldn't have to ask for help from random people on an internet forum who may or may not give you the right answer. I'm quite certain this is not the level of service your client is paying you for.

Would add due to people applying to try and extend their stay in Canada wait period for processing is close to 6 months these days with no guarantee of approval. Would imagine/hope the VOWP is aware that people are trying to secure WPs via this method when actually not at risk.
