Something interesting (and a bit scary) happened today.. I got an AOR on 8/10/2015 and today at 5 pm PST I got a message on my CIC accounts stating that I need to submit birth certificates for both my sons within the next 7 days. What's funny/strange is that I had already uploaded both certificates as part of the "Proof of Relationship" section in my original submission. I even double checked the file name that was uploaded, and the file on my desktop, and it included both birth certificates.
Of course it's understandable that human errors occur and that no system is 100% perfect. Thank God they asked for the new submission and didn't reject my application all together. Of course needless to mention, I uploaded both certificates (again) within an hour and resubmitted.
Anyone faced a similar situation recently?
