Asked to pay money after assessment

Hello All,

I took an assessment from Canadavisa site and got a reply from a person called (Attorney David Cohen) asking for resume and other details, which i sent, after which i was sent another mail from his assistant telling that my resume is ideal and need to pay 1995USD to complete the paper work, i can i trust these guys

Dear All,

I have similar question too, they r actually asking in total 3980 and you have to pay the total before even getting ITA, and if you do not receive any ITA within 1 year than you again have to register.

Though attorney david cohen seems genuine, but not assuring any ITA.

So I am confused too.

The attorney is genuine, and a good attorney by reputation. However, in my opinion you would be crazy to pay anyone to do the EE paperwork, which is self-explanatory. You will pay to get your educational credentials assessed (and those of your spouse if you have one) and you will pay to take an English or French exam (and your spouse will pay, too) and those costs will be pretty high. But filling that information in on an EE application and posting your resume in Job Bank truly doesn't need an attorney.
