Ask for PR before Work permit visa expires

I plan to get a 3 year work permit visa to Canada , I'm a doctor currently in Iraq, my question is will Canada deport you when the visa expires ? can you ask for PR card before it expires?

Note that you need a job offer and approved LMIA from your employer to apply for a work permit. Additionally, you should be aware that you cannot work as a doctor in Canada without going through a certification process which typically takes a number of years to complete.
