hi im trying to get a visitors visa and my permanent residency card has been expired as of 10 years and ive been out of the united states for 3 years if i go to the visas office and apply for a visitors visa are they going to make me talk to an immigration(?) judge about renouncing my status or will they allow me to get a 6 mo visitors visa

You can't get a visitor visa if you are a PR, even if you don't meet the RO.

You can voluntarily renounce your PR. No judge required.
