asivad anac pls advice - can a friend staying in Ontario really help..???

Hi Asivad anac and other experts,
I am in the process of applying for EE. We are a family of 3 - me, my spouse and a 2 year old tot.
My best friend and her spouse is staying in Mississauga with PR for almost 3 years now.
Can their details help us anyway in fetching more points in CRS or expediting the PR process.

They are eager to help.
Please suggest. TIA.
