Hi,

I have got an ITA in 14th draw. I have a few queries:

1. While filling out the EE profile, in the education section, I only declared my Masters degree (which is Canadian), the system awarded me points for the Masters degree, I submitted the profile and got an ITA. Since I knew that the system will consider the highest degree only, I did not declare my Bachelors Degree (which is from India).

My question is - even though the system awarded me points for the Canadian Masters degree and I got an ITA on its basis, still was I supposed to declare my Bachelors degree?

a) If yes, can I add my Bachelors degree in post ITA submission? (P.S. I have a ECA for my Bachelors degree), or will adding it post ITA will confuse the officer and make him believe that I got ITA for something which I have declared post ITA, and can cause him to cancel the application?

b) If no, can I simply proceed by submitting the Canadian Masters degree + its transcripts, in order to claim points for education?

If you suggest me to just go ahead by submitting the Canadian Masters degree + its transcripts, (and not declare the Bachelors degree post ITA), in addition to it, can I just add the scanned copy of my Bachelors degree and its ECA and write a note to the officer that although I got points for the Masters degree and proofs of the same are attached, to be on the safe side, I am also attaching the documents for my Bachelors degree.

2. I have not yet got the customized checklist of documents, since I am yet clearing my queries about post EE submission, I am not sure whether I need a Canadian PCC or not. I am living in Canada since last two years and haven't been to my home country since yet? Do I need a Canadian PCC?

a) If yes, I will get it done tomorrow. Do I also need my fingerprint scan to be done?
b) If no, can I just get it done and submit the Canadian PCC while applying, just to prevent the slowdown of my application? (Just submitting it right away, rather than CIC requesting the same later on and hence causing a delay in the processing of my application?)

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Not required.

a) If yes, can I add my Bachelors degree in post ITA submission? (P.S. I have a ECA for my Bachelors degree), or will adding it post ITA will confuse the officer and make him believe that I got ITA for something which I have declared post ITA, and can cause him to cancel the application?

No reason to add it now. It makes no difference (positive or negative) to your PR application.

b) If no, can I simply proceed by submitting the Canadian Masters degree + its transcripts, in order to claim points for education?

Yes.

Clearly an overkill. No harm done either ways. Your call.

2. I have not yet got the customized checklist of documents, since I am yet clearing my queries about post EE submission, I am not sure whether I need a Canadian PCC or not. I am living in Canada since last two years and haven't been to my home country since yet? Do I need a Canadian PCC?

CIC doesn't send an RCMP request to everyone. So the only harm done in applying for that upfront is you sending some money unnecessarily. If you don't care about that, go right ahead.

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Thanks a lot brother. I have one more query too. CIC says that whosoever has lived in a 'designated' country in the last one year is supposed to submit medical results. I have been living in Canada for the last two years and since Canada is not a designated country, do I still need to submit the medical results? If yes, should I submit them upfront or when CIC requests it? Thanks a lot in advance
