Arranged Employment

Hi Guys,

I need some help regarding Arranged Employment. I am in Canada on my work permit. My WP will expire by end of August 2011. Now I would like to apply the permanent residency under Arranged Employment category.

Some Important points:

My job is permanent full time.
I have been working this company since August 2010
My LMO will expire by end of January 2011

Please advice what options do I have? Much appricated yours help.

Hi,

Arranged Employment is one route to Canadian PR. Have you considered the Canadian Experience Class? I recall from your earlier posts your NOC code is skill level B.

To be eligible you must have obtained the equivalent of 24 months of full-time or full-time equivalent (one week is 37.5 hours of work) Canadian skilled work experience at NOC Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B. This work experience must have been acquired in Canada (within 36 months preceding the date the application is made).

I suggest you ask your current employer to extend your contract & apply for LMO for another year or look for another employer who is wiiling to. At the end of 2 years you would have gained the requisite experience necessary for applying under CEC.

Thank you for Info. But I am only considering Arranged Employmet. Because it takes less time to get PR in Canada.

I don't know why you suggesting me to wait 24 or 36 Months???????????????

Again, I have full time job and I am not considering to change my Employer.

Dose any one has more info. regarding arranged employment? Please advise
