Arranged Employment Opinion (AEO) 2012 Processing times

it takes only 5 weeks processing since august 2012. AOR of arranged employment mentions 5 weeks time. it depends on how your employer is.. means more number of employees and number of year company working.... i had seen case of my friends who applied with me ,but not got anything as they had not good employer who failed to submit income tax documents to HRSDC. his AOR of AEO mentions 5 weeks but more than 4 months passed away , he didnt got AEO.

ultimately it got rejected due to delay. HIs lawyer said whenever HRSDC delays your AEO file , it means it is rejected.

i got in 5 weeks exactly.

My employer applied for AEO on January 2012, two months later AEO was denied because he reported losses on his corporate taxes documents, I still can't believe this....!!

I am waiting for my AEO too. I read that it takes up to 6 month to get it. Acooding to the CIC it takes 6 month to proceed FSW visa with arranged employement. I'm going to wait for May 4, there will be much more shorter processing times for FWS acooding to the new rules.

AEO means arranged employment opinion which indicates future job after receiving visa. and it is permanent job offer . and it do not require to prove that any Canadian citizen or PR are not found by employer for job in intended position. it supports PR application of applicant

while LMO is labour market opinion where employer have to prove that we are hiring foreign candidate as we are had not got any Canadian citizen from local labour market. it requires advertising for job and its long process.

According to the new rules processing times will be much more shorter. AEO will be replace by LMO. LMO is the same option that AEO now but LMO is going to help Canadian employer to proceed to proceed arranged employment opinion for employee faster. So the main difference is times...

LMO time taken is less. but there is vast difference between AEO and LMO.

in LMO , employer have to prove that we are not able to find Canadian citizen or PR for applied position , while in AEO it was not required.

Processing time is the same......even FSW with AEO added more 6 month than normal application of getting AEO from HRDC

Maybe you are joking. Its impossuble to be the same because there is the exact date of beggining of the job in AEO.

;D I describe you what is joke in this matter..........first there is no exact date of joining in AEO fine......AEO is issued for two years.......and before its expire date you have to submitted your application so that points for that could be awarded to you.........when you start the process the whole process takes almost one year......and near the stage Visa office again ask you for updated documents from your employer to evaluate that job is still continue and valid or for indeterminate period than you are granted medical and after medical it takes almost further 4 month to land............If you have any other confusion do not shy to ask....

No one can give clear view until or unless policy is not announced .......so you should wait till may......and i listen that on May AEO will be replaced with LMO and that is another time taking task.......because in LMO employer have to publish for created job in local newspaper and have to conduct interview and then he will be able to hire any foreign employee...............so wait and see.........just

hi guys,i m new to all this so dont really know how this works,well i contacted an agent in canada regarding finding an employer for me to get the AEO so that i can apply for permanent residency,apparently its been almost 7 months and i still i m waiting to find out what is going on,i dont know how AEO process works,i mean i have an idea but i dont know the details,according to my agent the employer applied for AEO in august 2012 and since then all i have done is sent my resume to the employer and that too about a month ago plus photo copies of my docs,its been almost 7 months and i dont know where to go and what to do,i know u guys must be thinking that the agent must be cheating me in this but apparently he is one of my relative's(real uncle) friend in canada so i can kind of trust him,i would really appreciate if someone could help me,thanks for taking the time to read
