Hello everyone, my boyfriend has been living with me in my apartment for 3 months now and scheduled to move in a new apartment wherein both of our names are on the lease. We are planning to sponsor my mom since we are having a baby together and planning to get married after my delivery. I just want to know if we are are considered to be common law partners? I need both of our employment record for my mother’s TRV application since I only work part time because I’m not 4 months pregnant. Thanks in advance!

As well you had posted earlier you had requested an extension on your mother’s earlier visit . When did she leave to go back to her country ? You don’t want it too appear that’s she’s living here by returning so soon after her last visit . Being pregnant isn’t a valid reason for her to return so soon, as she only received a one entry visa on the last visit

Using your pregnancy will actually get a TRV denied, because IRCC will assume she is coming to care for you and the baby, which is illegal work.
