I am from Ecuador, and people have asked me to take some coffee, Ecuadorian cigarrettes and handycrafts, and bring them to Canada. Are we allowed to take those things htere?

Yes you are allowed but not exceeding limit for cigarettes.I think 1 carton containing 10-15 packets are allowed. If you take more you will have to give tax.

As far as cigarette is concerned you can only bring 200 pieces with you. If you bring more you'll have to declare it during immigration, and will have to pay some duty for it.

Hi!
I'll be taking a bottle or 2 of nescafe.
Should I declare(food) it in the customs form? is it necessary?

You are allowed 200 cigarets, you don't have to declare it. Make sure you are over 19 years old otherwise if they open you luggage they won't let you keep the cigarets, same goes for alcohol and the limit is 1.5L for hard liquor/wine. Coffee should be fine, so no need to declare it. Food should be delcared (for example, nuts, dairy, fruits etc), but it will go in the garbage once you declare it. Therefore avoid bringing any food, as it will most likely be thrown away unless you don't declare it and you don't wanna take the chances bcs the fine is $400.
