Pre-Assessed..
Hello!!!

I was wondering if anybody lives or has been to Victoria Island or Vancouver Island. A good friend of mine was thinking of moving to one of these places. I was just wondering if houses are expensive, is there alot of crime, any natural disasters, and weather etc....

If anybody has lived in these places could you kindly let me know thanks!

According to Wikipedia, Victoria Island (or Kitlineq) is an island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and straddles the boundary between Nunavut and the Northwest Territories of Canada. I never been there but I would imagine that it is severely cold all year round.

Vancouver Island is much warmer and less snow. Housing can be expensive, especially in Victoria (the provincial capital).

Isn't Victoria part of Vancouver Island? Is it a safe place to live I heard that the crime rate in B.C. is higher than the rest of Canada but that doesn't mean all of B.C. I was just wondering what the crime rate is like in Victoria?

Victoria (city, not island) is the capital city of BC, and is the biggest city on Vancouver island.

Maybe if you go down to the seedy section of Vancouver you might encounter some undesirable people, but generally B.C is a very safe place. I never, never worried about crime in Canada, unlike in Latin America where you must always be vigilant, guarding against petty theft, keeping your wallet safe.

It used to be said that the biggest danger in Victoria (formerly known as "God's waiting room", because many residents were very old) was that you could die of boredom after the city closed down at 7 PM. But things have changed.
