Hi all,
I am currently working on an application for visitor extension for my GF. She is currently in Canada under a Working Holiday Visa that will expire soon. We plan on extending her stay as a visitor until we are able to apply for PR Inland Sponsorship.
I have seen many people on this path however this part always confuses me. The application in the portal does not require a specific document for proof of ties to country of origin, yet some people say this is one of the important documents that need to be shared. I've also seen other people get their extension without showing any proof of ties at all.
For people who have gone through the same route (applying for visitor extension with the intent of applying for PR), what did you guys use for proof of ties (if any) back home, especially if you are a young adult with no property or job from your country of origin.
Thank you!
