We recently submitted our sponsorship application, which was received Dec 5, 2013 in Mississauga. On Jan 9, 2014, I was approved as a sponsor (YAY!) for my South Africa spouse.
The CIC website indicates it takes an average of 21 months to process for applications to Pretoria, South Africa. Is this accurate? That's such a looooong time
A coworker's son took 9 months to bring his wife in from India (and CIC's website indicates its a 12 month processing time). I'm really hoping other people's case has not taken as long as what is posted.
