are civil engineers still in priority list

Hi, everybody!
I applied 6 years back. Processing of my application started in Feb. 05 and in Feb 09 I resubmitted all the documents again as asked by the Delhi high commission. since then I have been waiting but no response as yet. However, in the present occupation list there is no civil engineer.
in this case will they discard my application? can any body suggest me what will be in my case?

They won't discard your application and it has nothing to do with new occupation list. Your application is still in process and you will hear some thing good soon. The new occupation list has limited quota for each category and visa officers have now more time to finalise old applications. Stay assured and trust in god.. everything will be alright!
