Are black and white docs fine to upload?

Is it a problem if all my work experience letters are black and white and NOT coloured?

Do you mean the scanning was done in black and white OR the company's letter-head/logo was in black and white. For the former, you would have. To rescan in colored; and for the latter,it would be nice to get a coloredd stamp, signature.

It's quite important they are colored

Yes....a colour scanner....but even black and white is ok as long as it is very clear.

I prefer Black and White.

If u scan some papers in color the others will look dull, to keep the symmetry I always prefer black an d White. Authenticity is not based on colours. Black and While portfolio looks more decent and sober to me.

This is just a personal choice. I am a graphic Designer and I sent all my Documents in BW.
