Hi,
I am a canadian citizen, and I got married february in Colombia with my mexican boyfriend. I met him in Canada , he came to Montreal and applied for refugee status, denied, appeal denied, he left under oder or removal taht became deportation, by then he was already in the process of PR, and he attended Interview in mexico and got his Quebec paper, then he received a letter as if he wanted to return to canada he had to applied for the ARC, he did 1 year ago., he received a letter 3 weeks ago, asking for a new letter explaining the reasons why he didnt leave when he was supposed to and the rason why he should be allowed to return...we havent informed yet of the marriage since Im worried his PR paper will delay even more, but the lawyer we just got for this last letter told us is better to inform and that could eevn help with the ARC...is this true? since he is applying as Skilled worker not under sponsorship (i met him when he was already applying as PR), would the amrraige be a problem? or for me?
thanks
