Hi, I have been deported from Canada in 2014 as I was living illegal and my ex gf called cops on me because we had some argument nand wanted to broke up with her later Some officer arrested me from my house and put me in detention centre and after a week I was deported to my country. After coming back to my country, India. I started working as a cabin crew in Indian airline now few months back in 2020 my airline started operating international flight and crew doesn’t need visa to go to Canada we just had general declaration so two months ago I had flight to Toronto I knew I had a life time ban and was deported but I took a risk and went to Toronto. I was scared but the surprisingly nobody questioned me at the airport so I thought may be I had exculsion order and not life time ban. So I came back to India thinking I do not have any ban so again after a month we had a flight to Vancouver but this time immigration official questioned me and seized my passport and fingerprinted me at the airport and was told that I have life time ban so when the next day I have flight back to India they give me a letter and said I need an ARC to return if I want to come back again ..so my question is how come the fitst time they let me go and second time they questioned me also if I will apply for an ARC what are the chances? And should I apply temporary resident visa or work visa? Can someone please advise. Also I need to explain in a letter my whole situation should I mention like all this incidents as well that first time I wasn’t questioned and second Time I was deported?
Thank you

They somehow missed that you have a ban the first time. Sometimes mistakes happen. Since you were deported from Canada, you are inadmissible for life until you get an ARC approved.

In your application, you need to focus on details about why you were deported from Canada (i.e. how long you were living here illegally, why, etc.). You should also focus on information about why you need the ability to travel to Canada now.

I would recommend that you submit a TRV application and provide a clear explanation of why you need to travel to Canada now (i.e. you work as crew), including letters from your employers supporting this.

Good luck. Keeping in mind that it take can a number of months for ARCs to be processed and processing times are especially slow now due to COVID-19.
