does anyone who knows the format of arabic names knows which part of the name to write under 'given name(s)' and which part to write under 'family name' . since realistically they have 3 family names and only one given name....but at the same time it only is asking for one family name..

Write them exactly as they are listed on the passport. You cannot go wrong that way.

I also have a Muslim name. On my Iraqi passport it has Full Name instead of Given name, and all three of my names are listed : Ahmad Rasheed Omar. Then it has surname (Omar). So on the Canadian visa application I wrote my given name (My first name and Fathers name) Ahmad Rasheed, and for family name I wrote Omar, I hope that's ok???
