April-Aug 2015 Inland Applicants - updates for those who are still waiting!

There seems to be a consensus on here that April-August 2015 Inland Apps seem to be getting missed. Anyone from the UK (or wherever) applying within Canada, in April-Aug 2015 want to post their updates and any correspondence they've received from CIC?

Ours is:
Application Received - April 21 2015
AOR Sponsor - June 24, 2015
AOR Applicant - January 21, 2016
Meds Requested - September 19, 2016
Decision Made - Sponsor on ECAS - September 20, 2016
Meds Received - October 6, 2016

Anyone in the same position? Or a little further along? Sponsor has received no correspondence since June 2015.

I called CIC at the end of August and said I had heard nothing since January, they said that they are trying to clear back log however there wasn't much direction given and officers are just clearing what they can, with no real organization.

I'm no expert, but isn't it normal for inland application to take close to 2 years or even more? That's what I've been reading anyway.. You could always order your notes if you're concerned..?

If you read through most of this forum, many, many inlanders who applied way after us have landed. CIC is clearing the backlog.

Unfortunately it appears they are clearing tageted groups of applications. No rhyme or reason for the grouping AFAIK, but that seems to be what's happening with the backlog ..

EDIT: check GCMS notes. They drop a note onto files in targeted groups..
