Approved student visa but need to Change DLI before travelling to Canada

I have approved student visa S 1 category but the university is was supposed to join revoked my admission as I couldn’t meet the course requirements grade.
However i got LOA from another university and paid the 1st term fee.
I have applied for change in school through GCKey application and got message that the information has been mailed to IRCC but didn’t got any acknowledgment nor i am able to track the status
Can i travel on my approved study visa and will the immigration allow me to enter at port
Pls advise

You need to apply for a new study permit.

I did applied for new study permit, will they stamp new visa or just send an new correspondence letter
How long will it take as the class have already begun but i have late arrival option to report by 3rd Oct

Did you apply to change schools or did you apply for a brand new study permit? You need to apply for a brand new study permit. Yes, they will send a new visa once approved. I can't tell you how long it will take.

Realistically you should be deferring to next semester. It is not in your best interest to arrive late and you aren’t guaranteed a refund after a certain date.

Actually the university does allow late arrival until 3rd Oct and they have connected us with the professor so we are getting daily study notes.

Also i got my visa acceptance letter today, so we will be proceeding with this semester itself
Yes, overall i will be missing my on campus class for 2 weeks

Do you have housing secured? Still risky to start a semester so late. You don’t get a feeling for the school or program before the withdrawal period. What university are you attending? Is it a large public university?
