Hello everyone,
My husband had his interview at Stockholm yesterday morning. His file is being processed in London since he resides in Sweden. The interview was 15 - 20 minutes all together! He was approved.
The IO asked him questions about his personal life, where he was, what he used to do, what he's doing now, where do his parents and siblings live/do, etc....very simple questions. He also asked questions to determine the genuineness of the relationship. He asked:
- how did you originally meet, did anyone introduce you?
- when did you propose? how did you propose? did you love her at the time you proposed?
- do you know her family? have you met them? does she know yours? has she met them?
- what are her hobbies and what are yours? what do you like to do when you are together?
- have you tried to visit her in Canada? (and yes, he has been refused a TRV ... which had no effect on our application at all!)
those were the nature of the questions, no trick questions, simple, sweet, and short.
HOWEVER, the IO mentioned that the case is approved BUT his background checks are not complete yet so he cannot issue the visa. He asked him to redo the medical and that when the background checks are done and medical result are received, he will get a PPR.
The IO mentioned that "possibly" between the end of September and October the checks should be done.
I am praying sooooo hard for things to be done before the end of this year!!!!
Just wanted to share the interview experience! Feel free to ask any questions
