Hi, anyone recently approved for GSS (Global Talent Stream) ? Trying to understand the current processing time. I have applied on 7th July and gave biometrics on 14th July. I know currently it is taking longer than normal so looking for estimates

Do you also need to provide medical and police certificates with your application?

Because these requirements are country-specific and need to know before the submission of application. You can use search tools on ircc which help to know if you need medical and police certificates

Applied from USA, Got approved for a closed work permit under GSS, it comes with a TRV

Hey I don't know the LMIA process in detail since the my company and attorney did it. All I know is it was filed on May 31 and approved before June 22. Hope this helps! Best of luck

Application submitted on : 22-jul-2021
Biometric completed on : 22-Jul-2021

On 16-AUG-2021, attorney said they have asked to resubmit LMIA approval which has been done and application in-progress, thats the only update they provided to me.

I am yet to receive signed job offer from company even though they have filled the work permit.

Is your work permit handled by company attorney? did you know if the Job offer letter is submitted along with your application?
