hello, as many of you guys noticed i received an 'Approval-In-Principle' e-mail after raising an web-form.
but didn't officially receive any update on my GC account apart from the bio-metrics correspondence letter and the medical pass notification.
according to IRCC:
"We’ll process complete applications first.
If you can’t submit a complete application, we’ll process your application in 2 stages.
If your application passes this first stage, we’ll let you know in your online account. This doesn’t guarantee that we’ll approve your application and issue you a study permit.
Our aim is to pass most applications through stage 1 before the fall semester starts"
however, i would much rather attend in-person classes than online, someone suggested here that my 'approval in principle' might get discredited if i defer my program to January semester. Besides, i submitted a complete application therefore i don't understand why i'll be needing a two stage inspection in the first place. now, with no updates being received on my GC account and AIP not confirming a full approval, i am planning to defer my program to January semester and my university authority is okay with that.
what i am asking is, do you think deferring will impact the overall decision on my application in any way?
