I'm confused please help. My mom is currently in Canada with a multiple visitor visa, her status will expire in May. When I try to extend her visitor record online, after asking a couple of questions it gives two options:
Also, when I continue with the visitor option it asks: "Have you lived in a designated country or territory for more than six months in the last year? (required) "
When I see the designated countries, my country is on the list, however it has a NO in the column that states "Inmmigration Medical Exam Required" You need a medical exam if there is a “yes” in the second column. Countries are listed alphabetically. Certain overseas locations may also be listed under the country of sovereignty, such as the United Kingdom.
so, I'm not sure if I should answer to YES or NO to the question. Any advice here?
- Visitors (in Canada)
- You may be eligible to extend your stay in Canada as a visitor / tourist.
- Super Visa (in Canada)
- You may be eligible to extend your stay in Canada using a parent and grandparent super visa.
