Applying visitor Visa - Funds Available

Hi Everyone,

We are planning to apply visitor visa and visit my sister in Toronto. We will be staying at her house for the complete duration and visit nearby places.

Can anyone please help with the funds that I have to show while applying for the visitor visa?

My family - myself, my husband and 2 daughters. We are from India.

You will have to show enough fund to be able to fulfill your stay at your sister's house without any external financial help. On paper at least you will have to show that you are capable of taking care of your 4 people for the entire duration of your visit.Also you have to convince visa officer of your your strong ties at home country and that you are not going there to never come back.

Take a look at my signature, its for parents visa but same applies in your case as far as letter of invite goes. You should show as much as you can, basically they should be convinced that you have strong ties to India and will return so by way of property papers, job and off course 2 daughters attending school. Travel History will also help
