Applying VISA WITH CONDITIONAL OFFER LETTER

Hello Everyone,

I am a final year student of B.tech in computer science and I am doing it from PTU.Currently,I am pursuing my 8th semester.

I have got conditional admission offer from Carleton University...and the condition that they put is of submitting my final year sealed transcripts and Degree.

Now my problem is that my exams are in June and I will be getting my result around starting of July ......so even if i got result by this time...So sending results to them will take another 10 or 15 days. and I have heard that its necessary to apply for visa before 1st august...

And I have heard that to apply for a Study Permit one need unconditional offer from the university and that I can only get once I submit all my required documents to the university......so i am really confused what should i do .....

Should I apply for the Visa with the conditional offer letter only or I should wait for unconditional offer letter ....Please all share your experiences and suggestions .......

Hello,

First of all, best of luck. As per CHC (VFS Canada) checklist, one must pay at least first semester fee and need to apply with unconditional letter. Please review the link for checklist;

As far as your situation is concerned, as you said you will get your result by july, if you are getting your result by or before 10th July, then you need not worry. Lets assume you get your result by 10 July and you send it to Uni and pay first semester fee, this entire process will take not more than 10 to 15 days time. Hence, you can still apply by 1st August for September intake.

Thanks a lot bro.....Yes most probably i will get my result around 10th of july.....but sending result to the university will take another 5-7 days...and then they will also take 5 to 7 days to send unconditional offer letter.....so if i have got my unconditional letter by 20th july.....so can i apply for my visa for sept intake ....as deadlines for sept intake is 1st august......as i have heard that one has to apply before this deadline for consideration.....

You said it all by yourself. Even if you apply on 1st August which is the deadline, you still good to go which means your file should reach VFS by 1st August and 1st August being Thursday and no public holiday so you are good to apply even on 1st August. But I will personally strongly suggest not to apply without unconditional letter (refer to the checklist).

Now this is off the record ( I applied on 5th April for may intake and dead line was 1st April, my file reached CHC Delhi on 8th April and on 10th april they stamped the visa). Hence, there is no issue to apply a day or two late if your case is good to go. Now, by mentioning this, I didn't mean to encourage you or anybody else to apply post deadline. It's wise to always apply as per the instructions. Wish you best of luck.

Just apply with conditional offer letter, but make sure you fullfill the requirement before you apply visa , as they will verify whether the conditions have been met or not ......I will do the same.

hello, can you please elaborate "make sure you fulfill the requirement before you apply visa" whether this means that i have to cleared conditions before applying for visa........but if this is the case....then one can get unconditional offer also from university if one has required documents ......but as the problem is of submitting the required documents by that date......

Yes, no need to wait for unconditional offer letter from university incase you are short on time, if you fullfill the requirements.
