Nope. You can apply for any visa you want.

No probalem at all. Since you have AOR; you can travel on short visits without informing CIC. Just keep a track of dates you travel ; because if you travel from Canada to US; they may/will not stamp your passport all the time.

Only a address change to a different country needs to be informed to CIC.

Hello,

Need suggestion

I am planning a trip to US. When is the right time to apply for US tourist visa i.e before PR stamping or after?

Situation is

1. Two of my friends applied for US visa post Canada PR stamping and they got rejected.

2. Considering above point, if I apply before PR stamping, do I need to inform IRCC about it?

3. If the answer to point # 2 is no, then if I apply for US visa now and let's say it gets approved and then eventually IRCC will ask for my passport, which will then have US tourist visa and I wouldn't have informed them about it. Will there be any problem?

1. Yeah I've also heard of US tourist visas getting rejected after Canada PR visa stamping. In this case, better to apply in your home country before CIC sends PPR.

2. No.

3. No.
