Applying under two different programs

Hello,

do you think there is any thing against applying under two different programs at the same time

For example I am thinking about applying under the Manitoba PNP program ( General Stream ) because i have two friends who are willing to support and same time apply under the Skilled Labor Migration program since my job is already on the list. and I have read that the list might change very soon, so it may be just about time to apply
