Applying separately or together for Citizenship

My family (me, husband, and daughter (age 6)) are now eligible for Citizenship. We are planning to leave Canada to spend up to a year with our family at some point (depending on the pandemic). If we are approved for citizenship, my husband and I would need to sit the written test and attend the oath ceremony. It is likely that these invites will arrive whilst we are away, and we may have to defer them if we are not allowed to attend them online from abroad. My daughter on the other hand would not need to do the test or ceremony. I want to know if my daughter's Citizenship will not be granted if my husband and I have to defer our tests/oath ceremony, or will her application be processed independently of ours? With regards to this situation, will it be better to:

1) Apply together as a family

2) Send 2 separate applications - 1 for my daughter, and one for myself and husband

Many thanks in advance.

I will go with choice '1' as that's what I did.
