Hi,

I need a suggestion on letter of explanation in applying BOWP. Is it a good thing to mentioned "applying for a second bridging work permit?

Thanks,

butang2013
Just write that a decision hasn't been made on your case yet and your first BOWP is expiring soon.

Why would you do that if they don't ask you to do that? You can attach a letter which states that:
1. You have valid WP which expires in xxxx days/months.
2. You submitted application for PR and received AOR (app number attached)
3. You are currently in Canada.

In other words - you're meeting the requirements of OP-485A. That's it.

You don't need a letter, you are either eligible or not and the application and supporting documents are all that are required.

I'm thinking they might need it as a reference. Yea, AOR is good enough as attachment plus the cover letter. Thanks

Guys,

Thought it would the right place to post my question.
My current WP will expire on Jan 2015 and it is time for applying for BOWP. I got my AOR also.
My Employer is ready to give me an offer letter in another branch of my company which is in a different province.

The question is, in the IMM5710, should I mention my employer name in the "prospective employer" under "Details of Intended work
in Canada" section? Or is it going to be a problem (like LMO problem) if I mention it?

Please suggest.

Thanks
