Applying PR under CEC

Hi Friends,

I graduated in Bangladesh and am right now working temporarily in Canada as a Software professional
for more than 1.2 years. I heard that since I have n't completed 2 years of work experience for applying PR, do I have any other choice of applying now for PR without completing two years of work experience because I will be here for at least one more year.

If I apply for PR under this CEC with a score of more than 7 in IELTS, how long is it going to take me for getting a PR.
Please advice.

To apply under CEC you need 2 years work experience and at least 3900 working hours during that time. Your application will not be processed faster just because you have a good IELTS. The processing time right now is 11 months.

Other ways of getting PR include seeing if your employer will/can sponsor you under the PNP in your province or give you a permanent job offer so you can apply yourself under the federal skilled worker program.
