Applying in the US - Can we move to Canada while waiting?

My husband and I live in the US right now and we are looking at applying for his residence while there (i am a Canadian Citizen). Does anyone know if we can move to the Canada in a few months if we are still waiting for the approval at that time? Would he be able to enter the country (and not work) but wait for the completion of the process here?

Yes, you can come to Canada while the app is processing. Your husband should avoid saying he is "moving", as he would only be entering as a visitor. Carry proof of the PR app and proof of finances.
