David Cohen is an expert in immigration and what I feel if you hire him and if you qualify, then you will not need to worry for anything as they will manage everything on your behalf and you just will have to give them the papers. If you choose to file it yourself then you will have to do all the documentation and handle all the queries yourself.

the website clearly states that hiring a professional will not get you any additional benefits. But, what I feel is that they can definitely refine the language used in the application a great deal.

Note: I did not use an attorney...

my opinion?

i guess, it's a personal thing....

If you think you can manage filling out the forms and arranging them in order yourself, do it yourself. Because the hard work of obtaining PCCs, registering and giving IELTS, etc, etc is still done by you :)

If you think your case is complicated, then why spend money on a lawyer?

but, frankly, it's a personal choice.

One of my friends hired a lawyer just because he thought he was lazy and will prepare his docs in time and the lawyer will keep pishing him to do so :D

I agree with aanbaan here, there is no need to paying so much money to a lawyer.

We can get all the info where we have confusions from various sources , the best one being this forum :)
however if you dont want to take any tension of this process then hire a lawyer.

I too am living in canada for more than a year and doing the entire prrocess by myself with some help from frns on this forum :)

Thanks,
