Hi all, how are you doing?

I am an international student who currently studying in the UK. I am applying for a visitor visa from the UK to visit my friend living in Canada. I got stuck at the stage of making proof of funds since I couldn't find any information about that. Can anyone let me know how to make it, how much do I need to prove and how long? Basically all foods and shelter are covered by my friend.

THat is what he HAS to write in his invitation letter and PROVE that he has enough.

Minimum $50 per day if accommodation and meals are on your friend.

My statement shows that sometimes my balance dropped under requirement, which is $500, but very rare. Does it really matter.

No, as much as VO could see you have income which allows you to save some money for traveling.
